I need a grade on this large cent. I want to say XF Details. But not sure if others would disagree.

The obverse looks EF-40 to me -- nice hair -- the reverse more like VF30. Would have to add the word "details", of course, as the environmental damage is pretty extensive, and that gouge on the chin is just a bit too large to overlook.

I woul say vf35 or so details but some damge on obverse and corrosion on both sides. These factors lower the value to maybe net fine level I think.

VF Details, the coin was cleaned and the environmental damage will heavily impact the coins value. most likely would sell in the $12-15 range

Don't buy coins that look like this one, there's no resale value. $10-$15 coin at most.

best of luck with your listing. Seems like an R4 rarity would help a bit in the value.

I'd bet it goes better than $15.00 with the correct identity listed. Seems like a decent hole filler for the die collector.

A problem coin is always a problem coin. And yes it would be a hole filler but considering if you saved $20 you could get a no problem coin I think most collectors would be better off spending a few more $$$. No offence intended asimpson just my opinion as to collecting....Good luck!
