Scratched Case Or Surface Damage?

I can't tell in the large photos on this auction whether the case or coin has the scratches:

My hunch is with the latter since it is slabbed as G4 and there are a couple of pings on the case. But I'm considering this coin.

That's a relatively new case. For my money, I'm forced to think the majority of the scratches are on the coin.

If you own a slabbed or encapsulated coin with a sratch on case or coin, (dunno which), shine a light at a shallow inclined angle. If two images of the scratch show up, the scratch is on the slab or capsule.
One image is of the scratch itself, the other is of it's shadow on the coin.
