I have a 20 pound bag of Canadian Nickels from years prior to 1965. Where can I sell them? Is anyone familiar with a place on the US West coast that buys nickel by the bag? How much should a bag of that weight go for?

Thanks.

You might be better off trying to sell them to a Canadian buyer, but something that heavy might be prohibitive with shipping, especially if Canada customs gets sticky and wants to collect duty tax on that. My advice would be to sell them, 10 rolls at time, on ebay...

you should assemble them in to sets missing the key coins I told you about. sell each set for $60 to $80 sell the keys for their trend value and than roll up the rest and sell every thing on ebay and the forum and you can get much more than $120 in total just be patient.

When I buy bulk lots like that, the first thing I do is sort them by the monarch.

1922-1936 George V
1937 1952 George VI
1953 to present Elizabeth II

Depending on what your final ratio or proportions are, should dictate the price you should get.
