There's an ancient old coin shop in a run-down part of my PA town run by the same, unfriendly, cantankerous fellow since the late 1950s. The guy snarls at you and gives foreign pennies and quarters in change, saying "don't worry no one notices." (I'm not making this up.)

His stock is pretty picked over and he doesn't go to shows any more. But he still has one of those motorised rotary display cases where you can cycle through shelves of coins marked "bargain".

Here's something my seven-year old daughter bought there Saturday:
