Pick ONE coin that you believe will go up in value in the next 30 days. I will use the greysheet to mark the progress of those coins chosen. The person who chooses the coin that rises the most (percentage) will win a really "cool" prize.
Your pick must be specific. Date, mintmark, grade. You can only choose ONE coin. This contest will begin on MONDAY JUNE 27th. Your entry must be in this thread prior to Monday. All entries after Monday will not be included.

On Monday I will put the coins in a list with current greysheet BID value. Each week the current value will listed (if applicable). Any coin chosen that is NOT listed in the greysheet will be given the value as it is listed using various coin dealer networks.

A few exceptions: You can choose something like a specific State Quarter ROLL as these prices are listed in the greysheet. Rolls of Morgan or Peace dollars. Rolls of new Bison Nickels would be acceptable as they are traded on the dealers network.
However, do not complain to me if the dealers price does not match what these coins are bringing elsewhere. (auctions-trends).
This is just a FUN contest.

So, make your post specific. It should look like this:

EXAMPLE:

1880-S Morgan dollar MS-65

EXAMPLE:

1921 Morgan dollar BU Roll

If anyone has a question, EMAIL me. DO NOT put questions here.

Remember that this contest must be entered by Monday June 27th. It will end on July 24th.

Hmmm... neat idea!

I'm going to choose the Walking Liberty half dollar, since that's the most beautiful coin we've minted.

1921-D Walking Liberty half G-4

Winner or not, seeing that list already makes me happy! That $120 is about three times what I paid for my CC about four years ago or so.
