Greetings, I am searching for the value of my Sacagawea dollar Coin. It is 2000 P. But there is NOT any TDR initials. All images and discussions of this coin that I have seen all include the some initials on the back. But my coin does not include any initials at all. I have searched for any similiar but cannot find. Do you know of any? Have you ever heard of this for the Sacagawea Coin? What would be the value? It is dirty or tarnished. Should I clean it or leave as is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, tim.
Never clean a coin. It will ruin any collectible value. Most likely as Oih said it is a Grease Filled Die. If you google " Grease Filled Die" and coins you should be able to get more info about this error. Assuming it is a Grease Filled Die with only the initials missing it isn't going to be worth much over face IMO. If you post pictures we will be able to confirm or deny this.
