Look at all the stuff I got today! Gotta work on photographing all the GSA Morgans first. Here's a list; '80-CC GSA '82-CC GSA X3 '83-CC GSA x2 (1 PL) '84-CC GSA x3 '85-CC GSA '71-S Ike x7 '72-S Ike '73-S Ike '74-S Ike Original wrapped roll of '58-D Franklins 3x "Original" rolls of '63 Franklins. Not in/with the original bank roll but sure do look like they all were together. Got even more stuff due to show up on Monday, including another '82-CC GSA and another '84-CC GSA. I'm kind of addicted to GSA Morgans now. Edited by FadeToBlack 07/20/2013 5:59 pm

I actually wrapped up the GSA's, went on to shoot the Ikes and my batt died, so that's charging now... Just gotta crop and upload the GSA's to photobucket then I'll post 'em here.

It's a 2B2 to be exact. At least I'm pretty sure it is. EDIT: It is not a VAM 2, it's a VAM 3, Spiked wing. Boo. Still fairly new to this whole VAM thing, so they might not all be dead on. I'll start with that one; We'll go in date order the rest of the way.... '80-CC VAM 8 '82-CC VAM 3B '82-CC VAM 3 or VAM 4? Not sure. '83-CC VAM 5 PL '83-CC Unidentified VAM. VAMWorld says this should be a VAM 5 or a subtype, but the die markers don't match up good enough to make me confident... it looks more like VAM 7, which they merged into 5, but like a later-die state VAM 7. Any ideas? '84-CC VAM 4A '84-CC VAM 4B '84-CC VAM 6 '85-CC VAM 3

Oh, boy. I'm gonna be here for a while. The first '82-CC is interesting. I don't see the characteristic V2 lump on the second 8, can you confirm it's there?

Yeah, even in the absence of the spikes being visible, the die cracks give it away.

Can you include what makes them a certain VAM with each picture? Trying to learn and understand the whole VAM thing. Merry Xmas.

Amazing collection... Just curious, what would be the accumulative value on all that stuff?

IHOP, check out VAMworld if you want details. 1962, I'd say $3500 or so? I've already sold the '80 ($675) and have multiple offers on the '85 that aren't quite what I want ($525). Here's another that came Monday, should have another coming tomorrow, and then another by next Monday... I buy these whenever I see nice looking ones reasonably priced, or whenever I see them at $175 or less. My dealer has a standing offer of 175 each on any GSA, so it's a no brainer for me to buy them at $175 on the off chance of getting a rare VAM or a real nice coin.
