The H probably means this is from the Georgian Restaurant at Harrod's ( in Knightsbridge, London). Though it looks nothing like the style of the well-known logo of Harrod's department store, which has been in use since the 1960s.

It is contemporary, or modern the reverse is a stock token design T70 is the current design number from the Hoffman mint. There are a number of locations in London But only one looks to start with a H in the name the one at Harrods. Maybe one of the members across the pond can add some thing when the clocks turns their way.

Here's the Hoffman mint T70. I'd say close, but no cigar.

Am I the only one who sees that as a monogram, JH or possibly JHI? I checked, & it's not any character in the Georgian writing system!
And, yes, the reverse is certainly distinct from the Hoffman T70 & its relatives. Instead of rays with their inner terminations alternating between two radii, you have two concentric sets of rays. The overall effect is similar, but by no means the same.

I have to agree that it is different, as the one drawing that I have seen showed the inner ring, separating the two sets of rays. was attributed to Hoffman mint
