Is there enough left to determine the reverse type?

I think it's the "Zero Tail Feathers" variety.
Reminds me of when I got my first 1861 British penny. The catalog listed two varieties: "With Signature" and "Without Signature". As virtually the only discernible feature on my coin was the date, I ticked it off in the catalog as "Without"...

Quote: I think it might make p01 in a slab. I don't think so. Can't tell what the mintmark is, that area seems to be gone. (hard to tell with the reverse photo out of focus) If it is gone they won't slab it. If they can tell which mint made it then it probably could get a Pr-1.

Believe it or NOT some people really LOVE coins like that when you get submitted to PCGS and they come back as a lowball.

I'd say this one's probably EX-45! That might be a bit low though. Might be able to get a few thousand for one in this condition on ebay. Beautiful coin. Jokes aside, I love those worn coins too! Gives them character
