Found this today while coin roll hunting, is this what a "poor mans double die" is? Or is it PMD?

It's a "Poor Man's Doubled Die" but the thing is that it's not really a doubled die. It's an example of Die Deterioration Doubling. Hopefully this page will help you: http://doubleddie.com/144843.html

Thanks Erns, I knew it wasn't an actual double die. And although the page says it's "worthless" people still pay a small premium for them. Mostly as book fillers I suppose :)

This was always a popular find for myself and a friend when CRHing as a kid. I still have a dozen or so and more than one has the "cracked skull" from what I remember. Nice find!

Thanks Dave, I found 3 or 4 of them in the last few rolls I've look through. I'm not sure what the "cracked skull" is though

Just a later die state with a crack through Lincolns head. They're fairly common also.
