That box cost $84.99 CAN. Here's the link ( they are «out of stock » right now ): http://www.imaginaire.com/indexv2.j...eLangue=true
You can also buy those boxes right in the USA : http://www.lighthouse.us/epages/lig...2279/US_2345

Just got ship notice from Imaginaire for both orders that have one case in each order. Has anyone tried to fit Birds of Canada coins in their RCM capsules in these cases?

Took my tape measure and measured the Bird Series Plastic Coin capsule and it measured 40 mm. The O Canada 1/2" ounce coin capsule also measures 40 mm.

So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its a perfect fit....

Might have to order one in for my wife's bird coin collection....but aren't we at 12 bird coins in the series....might need two

Thanks for measuring, I thought they might work perfect for them. I wouldn't mind starting a 2nd case for bird series & think they would look great. Wonder how long this series will continue?

Very nice case to store a series! Just curious as to where to put the COA's... Is there a separate sleeve or compartment to store COA's?

It appears that the felt liner where the coins are placed lifts out and the COA's are placed below.

I asked the same question about the bird series coins fitting in the case on a different forum page and the bird coins are a tiny bit big for the o-Canada case....but havnt seen it yet. I tried putting a glow in the dark dino coin in the case and it did not fit and I assume they are the same size as the bird coins. so maybe someone else should try it before buying the case for the bird coins. the topic page where I askes was the NIAGRA FALLS slowly I turned topic...also yes there is a spot for the COA's under the felt tray the coins are placed in like Tender4848 stated....

@ Solidifier

Double checked my measurements....

The 1/2 ounce O Canada coins capsule appears to measure in at 39 mm.

The Bird series coin capsule measures in at 40 mm.

Here's hoping there is enough play in the hole in the box to fit the Bird Coins because my box is on the way

dang 1mm difference......well if the bird coins don't fit at least you have a nice RCM box.....I like the box and how it has Royal Canadian Mint stamped on it because I want to put other 1/2 oz RCM products in it like the 1/2 oz penny and maple leafs and other random RCM coins.....

For some reason, I was thinking O Canada coins were 35mm just like bird series but O Canada 34mm. Is the inlay made of plastic or wood. I was thinking maybe a slight cut in area where you lift coin out with exacto knife may be a solution? As Solidifier says this is a great RCM case and can be used for other coins. I really was hoping to get my bird series into this case.
