Regretfully I had left a negative feedback to another eBayer. I had received a defective coin some time ago. I also sent the coin back since the seller said he would send a replacement. Several weeks have went by and no replacement. I left a negative feedback. I gave ample time for this transaction with no satisfaction.

Now some other eBayer user e-mailed me and said "I saw your negative feedback on a $2.00 item. I placed you on my blocked bidder list. Ridiculous."

I don't understand why I would receive this type of e-mail. I felt I was in the right regardless of the cost of the item.

Don't worry about it. He probably got a negative feedback he thought was unfair, and transferred his anger to you. Don't respond.

that is correct I wouldn't worry about anyone putting me on their blocked list at all no matter if it is over a 2.00 item or a 200,000.00 dollar item. It is probably best if this is a seller because he thinks a 2.00 item isn't worth his time anyway so I would carry on like the email never arrived and not think a second thought about it

My thought is that the seller had a friend write you the note about being put on his blocked list as a means or retaliation; to which I just might send that person a "Thank You" for doing so as he probably has the same attitude and business ethics of the original seller you gave negative to.

Did the seller ever respond in any way including posting negative in return?

If this seller (who wasn't even involved in the transaction) was so quick to put you on his blocked bidder list, I would think he was afraid of receiving a negative himself. This could be due to the fact that he's not completely honest in his dealings or he may be affiliated with the original seller. Either way, I wouldn't be willing to bid on his auctions with that type of attitude anyway. He probably just did you a favor and helped you to avoid problems.

I wouldn't respond, nor would I care to bid on someone's auctions who did not even ask for an explanation.

Don't waste your time on someone like that. It isn't worth it.
