I wish I could get NGC to certify paper currency. I do plan on submitting it to PCGSCurrency once I have a few more notes.

You could send it into PMG (Paper Money Guarantee) which is a sister company to NGC. Both are based out of Florida. PCGS-Coin is from CA, and PCGS-Currency (which has no relation to PCGS-Coin) which is from IL. I know PMG recognizes all experimental papers on FRNs.

Never heard of a natick test note, but if only 14 exist, then this is definitely a great find.

Congrats on your purchase!

Interesting...I did not know of these test notes. I liked G. William Miller's signature as a collecting teenager back in 1979-81 and now have an autographed 1977A $1 note, a few crisp unc $1's and a $5 crisp unc 1977A. Finding a crisp unc $10 1977A is proving to be difficult.
G. William Miller is the only person to have served as both Fed chairman and Treasury secretary.

Looking at uspapermoney.info, there are 1977A $10 star notes printed on the Natick test paper. Very interesting...I am going to have to keep my eye out for one of those. Issued out of the Richmond Federal Reserve district. I would love to have a crisp uncirculated one as my $10 note in the 1977A collection.
