Like broken-coin says or at least more information about which SF note this is(National bank note and its charter/name, federal reserve bank note, federal reserve note).
I did a little more research and found what I think is your note on Track&Price. If yours is a 1929 $5 with serial number L00004983A, then it is actually a Federal Reserve Bank Note(brown seal) and there are two lower serial numbers known to have been sold through auctions, a L00002239A at Heritage and a L00001511A at Lyn Knight.
IF it is a 1929 BROWN Seal FRBN from SFO it is the "key" note to the series. As always, condition is key. Great note anyway you look at it! Post a pic!
