the PCGS price guide lists that coin/grade at $1785 but PCI is not one of the top three graders, so their grade will probably be off.

In a PCI holder would would get $200 less than a PCGS holder. I recommend re-holdering it then selling it.

The most recent sales on ebay for common dates in PCGS/NGC MS-62/63 is in the neighborhood of $1500-1600. APMEX is offering to pay about $1390 for AU common date coins if you can meet the $10000 min to get that price. Goldmart is offering about $1333 for EF/AU and Provident metals nearly $1400 for AU or better.

Quote: spot value is currently $1200.33 I think you're trying to say the "Melt Value" is $1200.33 and that's way off the mark. Spot Value is actually a price per troy ounce. The current Melt Value is the Spot Price ($1333) X Actual Gold Weight in troy ounces (0.967) = $1290. I would guess a local dealer would offer you less than melt value. If the coin actually is MS62 then it's wholesale value is $1400 to $1450 today.

At the current price of 1333/oz, you should realize ~$1500 on ebay. After eBay/Paypal fees, you will net `$1333(melt value). If you're able to obtain more than that elsewhere, take it.
