@Double J you need to tone down the lighting a bit, can't make any thing out. Really would like to see those errors.

The first is a missing mintmark, due to filled die. The second is either a partial collar or broadstruck error. Indiana is a rare state for any type of error and is worth $30+.

Looks like your white balance is off. The second coin looks like a MAD that might be worth a small premium.

I can't seem to take a good picture they all turn out like the other one or yellow. Any suggestions would be appreciated...I want to post the 'mis aligned' one on ebay, what would I call that error officially?

I use a point and shoot camera with the setting on auto...that's about the extent of my knowledge taking photos.

Taking coin pics takes practise. Your new pics are a lot better. The error is called a "misaligned die". I would not put it on ebay because the value of the coin is less then it will cost you to sell it on ebay after all the fees,IMHO.

I would probably keep this. It is interesting.

Note that the hammer die (the adjustable one) is on the reverse of the coin. The obverse is the anvil. I knew this was occurring now. Reminds me of a quote from Mike Diamond:

Quote:

Mike Diamond on reverse MAD coins:
Since the middle of 2005, all Lincoln cents have been struck with inverted dies (reverse die as hammer die). Therefore, any MAD errors are to be found on the reverse face. Also, between 2002 and 2005 the vast majority of cents were also struck with inverted dies. Some US coins have been struck with inverted dies since 1992. Adoption of this setup was an ongoing, incremental process.

I saved the quote to remember the information on a word page. I save not only images, but quotes I want to remember as well.

Most if not all State Quarters were struck with this inverted die setup.

Edit: And Double J can you tell us if this is a partial collar. I'm guessing that it is.

I'm not familiar with the term partial collar. If literally there is a partial collar all the way around the coin I would say yes, I think so. Though it's barely there on the one side.
