OKAY GUYS, THIS IS MY FIRST POST.

I was looking at this coin through a microscope yesterday, and I know this had the D/D variety and I noticed something at the top. I almost flipped, but I'm no variety expert so I'm asking your opinion.

EDIT- The image is a bit small, but if you open it in a new tab and magnify the page, it should be fine.

And another EDIT- I looked it up it looks like a 1960D-1MM-015.

1st to coin forum!

The key to help with members here are good photos. Markers for die varieties can be both on obverse and reverse of a coin. Members here magnify good quality photos, and look for markers of the variety you think you might have.
I use a microscope camera for close ups, but not needed if photos submitted show enough.

I magnified your photo. It might be a rpm 15, but 1960D has over 160 rpms. Hard to tell you for sure without mint mark placement photos or marker photos. Visit coppercoins.com and do a die variety search for 1960D. Then you'll know how to look at your coin and compare.
