I'm looking at my order for my 2 coin ASE set. It says "1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 07/19/2013." Is it normal for it to be 12 days past the expected ship date? I was just wondering if anyone else has this happening to them. Thanks. |

Thats how mine was until this morning. It just changed to "In stock and reserved" I was scratching my head over that too.
I ordered on 07/30/2013 at 04:43 PM if that hepls at all.

@LincolnGuy - you might want to look at the date you posted for your order "07/30/2013"....that would have been yesterday.

Hehe I got my mint orders mixed up and copy/pasted the wrong one... It should have been 05/09/2013 @ 5:24pm

On June 27th they emailed to say back ordered to 8/8, then July 4th, yes July 4th they emailed me to say how about 8/9 instead. I also ordered late afternoon the first day and the initial ship time estimate on May 9th was 7/25. My order is also "In stock and reserved".

I seriously hope the mint learned from this and won't do a Chinese packaging import on the next special offering. They should have had enough insight to the packaging to know whether the company they are buying from could actually produce the boxes.
My 5/9/13 order at 2:43 pm got here early last week. That in and of itself was slow and to read people are still waiting for their first day orders is kind of mind numbing... since that means they have yet to ship 1/2 of the ordered product.

My original ship date is suppose to be 8/8 but based on the comments above will be pushed back some.

1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 07/19/2013.
I called Customer Service last week and again this week and they claim this is totally normal. The line I was fed is that my order was to ship on the 19th but for some reason they didn't get enough to fill my order. I'm supposed to believe that it's a good thing my ETS date is almost two weeks in the past.
The first woman I talked to assured me that the Mint hadn't run out of silver. (weird)
The second lady was condescending and kept repeating that this item is by demand and all orders would ship. "You do know that this is a by demand product don't you?" I wanted to say you do know that my expected ship date is in the past, not the future don't you?
I like these ASEs but as a newish collector this experience is really putting me off. I can easily find something else to spend my disposable income on.

My sets ordered the 3 days before the cutoff were originally scheduled to ship 9/16. Then one day I logged in and it said the middle of July. Then the next week it was back to 9/16. Today they show a ship date of 8/9. Who knows when they will really ship.

Hmmm, They guy selling his on the HSN the other night had his 200 ready to ship overnight, guess the deep pocket big guys get filled first.

Mine also has changed was listed as 8/9/13 but now;  So they should have shipped last month?  I guess I should just be happy there is some kind of activity! Edited by COINAHOLIC
