I was looking at a 1973 cent to see if it had the DDO variety. And I saw something strange with the O, so I'll leave it to you guys. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/03/2013 8:52 pm Larger images of area in the images I posted would help. Sometimes coin contact can flatten and make it appear to be doubling on the tops of devices. The biggest clue would be if the devices are wider? If not, then it may just be damage. Note the enlarging from the hubbing on my examples posted above. That will help with your on hand examination. Report this Post to the Staff
