I have about 50 on these large M or large K coins but I am pretty much at a loss to identify them.

how would you advise to proceed?

This coin appears to be Justin I from the Nicomedia mint, officnae B. Sear # 88

Thanks a lot.
I'll go through these resources for these coins

I found the sear 88, but the bust is more sophisticated on the one I found and on the reverse there is a cross on top and not on the right. Any significance ?

No signifigance, only go by the legends and mintmarks. There are tons of minor variations on these folles and half folles.

the spreadsheets on TIF's last link are VERY helpful for those....I'm using one today.

waou these excel files are more than helpful.
I was pretty worried that tese coins would be hard to identfy, but these files are great
