1826 Bust Half O-106? - Coin Community Forum

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 08/04/2013 11:44 am I have this one at F12-15. Not O-106; that Overton has the R-I joined, while your coin does not. I believe I'm calling this one O-116 based on the 2 being low and the slight rotation of the M in AMERICA. Report this Post to the Staff

I agree with the intial Overton of 116 but I think (maybe...?) the dies have progressed enough to be the O-116a. I can see the die crack along the bottom of the reverse from the under the second clump of leaves progressing right through the 50 C and into the arrowheads. (Nowhere near as advance as some I've seen, though). Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff
