Thought I would share my latest masterpiece. One Morgan and Peace dollar from each year of mintage. Custom fabricated frame.

Very nice! Attractive coins and display. What's the story behind the frame? Did you make it? What is the material?

The display is made out of 3 pieces of plexi. The back is 1/8" black. The middle piece is 1/4" black that was CNC cut out. The front is 1/8" museum grade clear plexi. I did not cut the pieces but I did design it.

Now you just need a setup to lower the display into a vault every night for the full "museum experience." Was it difficult to get a shop to do the CNC tooling?

I have some friends who have an entertainment center that raises/lowers an LCD TV. I could get one of those to display my silver dollars! lol
To get the plexi CNC was no big deal. There is a huge plastics company right by my office that does fabrication.
They do ship if anyone wanted to purchase this exact frame.
