Hello,
I ve had contact with a seller who also offered a Nero Dupondius he found.
Now my question is whether this coin is worth the sales price of 45euro.
The condition is not great and porous but its still a nero dupondius.

What would you guys do? Tnx!

I'd say no. The price isn't out of the ball park but there are too many green spots of bronze disease there for me to be comfortable. I think you'd be storing up trouble for the future there.

Difficult one to judge. The photos could be a bit better. Looks overcleaned but the portrait is relatively nice. The BD is something to worry about but I can't tell if it is there or not. Too much uncertainty ...... A nice Nero Dupondius will generally run well over $100 (closer to $200). But patience is a good thing for the beginner ..... When in doubt !

VCOINS have approximate equivalent condition Nero dupondii in the 50 to 110 Euro price range.
On that basis, 45 Euro is OK.

While the details appear to be nice the BD is a problem. The price isn't bad, but if you bought the coin you would have to treat the BD before it spreads. I would hold off until a trouble free coin comes along.
