The inscription round the edge is more important.

Does it say
Gesangverein liederfranz nieder-saclheim ?

If, so that seems to mean
"Singing club French songs Nieder-Saclheim"

The middle means "competition memento".

How big is it? What does it weigh? Is there an indication of the metal composition (silver, bronze)?

The outside reads:
Gesangverein Liederkranz Nieder-Saulheim E.V.

I believe that it is nickel-silver

It is 1.75 inches in diameter round and is 1/4 of an inch thick

A bit heavy for a pcoket coin

I believe it to be a commemorative medal probably due to a death or perhaps a competition
