Well July was a bad month for me as far as finding any new coins for my collection. I added zero to my hoard, mainly because I worked every day since July 4th weekend and did not have the time to get around to my usual haunts. But I came home today to find that the wife had scored $19 in Ike's for me. Ten of those was a BU roll of 72-D's and the rest were of various dates and mint marks. I know some of you guys don't think much of them, but I love the Ike dollars myself and was happy to get them. Time to start looking for die verities and die clashes.

Excellent.

You will never find me complaining about an abundance of Eisenhower dollars.

I had very good day at work today. I found a few silver coins plus this 1977D Ike!

Great score and a great wife! I'm becoming very partial to Ikes myself lately. Bought 4 silver ones last night.

Good find, I always ask at the bank also for them and Kennedy halfs. I just enjoy spending them.

I have been working on my Ike set and almost have it complete.
Been working on a PCGS coin number set. PCGS has 56 different coin numbers for the short set of Ikes.
Just for the year 1976 there are 14 different numbers. If you count them, you have the P, D, S, Cam, DCAM, No designation proofs, Type 1 and 2, I have collected 52 of the 56 Ike's. Some of the date are down right hard to find, only because the giving grade is not a common sight.
I am having fun chasing them down.

I like Ike's too

Congrats on your wife getting you a nice surprise!

I got 5 proofs and 8 BU's this afternoon.

For the last couple months I have been trying to put
away a box of Ike's. Still need about 8 rolls.
