mysilveryears Pillar of the Community United States 1888 Posts	Posted 08/10/2013 5:05 pm Lotta silver in that hoard. Whoever made up the list evidently does not know coins very well. I see all sorts of errors and ambiguities. Also, no pick-up of successful bids on day of sale? That for me would mean an additional four hour trip. Sure, gas is cheaper in NJ. But the bullion stackers are likely to be all over this one and there doesn't seem to be much of numismatic interest other than one questionable (no pic) early dollar. A lot of those government auctions lump every property seizure into one sale (drug dealers, car repos for ladies of the night offenses, because we wanted to raid your house because it was Wednesday, etc) Report this Post to the Staff

Most items are overbid but if you know your stuff you can do well! I can't attend due to health reasons so why not let my NJ coin friends have a shot at it!! Report this Post to the Staff
