And don't forget "It has been well taken care of in a humidity-controlled, smoke-free, sunlight-free manner" AND "On top of these facts, there is the planchet deterioration on the right side of the obverse next to the 1940".

I THOUGHT I had seen everything, but this takes the cake...

I'm getting quite upset now about the large number of rare 'planchet error' coins that I have seen in dealers' junk bins over the years and left where they were!

I've cut better looking holes with my
Buck Rogers Kryptonite powered laser.
Even though not as good as some that I have seen
I was going to buy it now until I noticed the $8.00
shipping charge. Too much for me I'm afraid.

Same advice I have for slabs also:

Buy the coin not the plastic or hype. If you have to be convinced to buy somthing, PASS. Know what you are buying first.

Love how that comes before the actual description of the title. Does (s)he think Canadians are dumb? Not more so than the rest of the world

The BIN is just $999.95 too expensive for me.

Too bad its an auction, otherwise I'd send an offer.

it says on the top that shipping is $8, but it says in the auction description that shipping is $4. maybe we should ask for clarification ...

*sigh*
So then , being Greek myself, I am not welcome to bid.

Drat... I wanted that coin so bad.

Yeah, I would have chosen different wording there myself.

Mind you, I wouldn't be selling a coin like that in the first place...

This error looks to be very well preserved, and I'm also glad to see that "the coin is uncleaned". I was worried for a second.
