VF35 an almost full horn would keep this from XF40. Still a nice looking Buff!
Rest in Peace

I'm gonna guess the missing details are strike related and it's an AU coin?

My first thought was AU50 but I think EF45

I feel that it IS wear on the high points, because there quite a few dings around the face area, but the Buff's eye is quite sharp.

Two grades:
Weak strike: AU55
Worn on high points: EF40. (favoured option)

This coin has successfully fooled me a bit.
I would appreciate other comments re wear.

Yeah, I am never any good at telling if it is a weak strike on circulated examples.

Thanks for the input everyone!

EF45 on the low end of that, but better than an EF40.

Buffaloes are tough to grade. Soft strikes look so much like wear sometimes. I would hang a EF-40 on this one.
