I have a few of Delaware grease filled errors, I have showed them before hoping to get a few comments but since I didn't ask any questions no one made a comment. I pulled these from Mint Bags myself, the are uncirculated and there was only one of each type. Do you think they are worth grading? I just saw the post of the 1921 S Morgan that has the S that is very faint where you its very difficult to see and they value it at $1000. Which they are calling a grease filled error. My one quarter is totally missing the ARTER in Quarter and the 7 on the reverse in the date 1787 is barely visible. These are two different quarters. Please let me know what you think. Thanks Coin Community Family.

I would say they are not worth getting graded. If you are going to sell them you wont really gain enough by getting them graded as per selling them in a 2x2. I do not think either of them would fetch more than a dollar. The one with the "7" missing would fetch less IMO. I do not collect this type of error so I might be a little off on my pricing but either are very valuable IMO.

Here is a nice Greaser that just sold on ebay. It has Grease Filled Front and Back

My humble opinion is that certification of this coin by any true TPG will cost you way (many times) what the coin is worth in the market.

If you intend to sell them ... raw is the way to go.

I would store it well and revisit it in the future if there becomes a premium on them later down the road. Then slab if it warrants it.
