According to the names listed in talismancoin's website, the last one will be "Eagles Family - Mother Protecting Her Eaglets". I expect it to look like the recent eagle gold coin.

The third coin looks good but the extremely brilliant finish on the clouds distracts from the bird and fish. IMO, the coin would look better without the clouds.

My guess is that Silvertowne reduced their allocation on this particular coin. They only show 72 available but CC&C have them in stock again (as of this morning) and Canada Post also have them listed. I don't recall CP selling the first coin. They usually only list coins on their website when they have significant quantities.

Edit: just noticed that Silvertowne have a further 600 or so certified (graded) coins.

Wow...

Great coin, thanks CC-Ottawa.

Do not like the series (1-st coin just distracts me from it), but this one, as stand alone - very good done.

I bought the chicken and two of the Bald Eagle Pair along with two Maple canopies. While waiting for my maple canopies I received two of the Eagle with Fish (which I did not order ). I finally get a rep and he is sending stuff I didn't ask for. Since it is sold out I might just keep them....

Can someone explain to me why the people is willing to pay almost 4 times the issue price for this coin: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190930515644

Or maybe I'm missing something.

Wow. That is a crazy high price. Maybe the chicken resemblance is creating value - has there ever been a chicken coin?

My Bald Eagle "Mother Protecting Her Eaglets" coin came in today. I like the design and am very pleased with the RCM's execution of it. The multiple finishes on the coin do a great job in highlighting and separating various details of the design.

I don't usually buy "animal" coins, but as a fan of the Bald Eagle, I'm glad I went ahead and purchased this set of coins from the RCM.
