Why 3 and not 4 ?

Because the first was chicken

but here the idea, guys, as I remember, couple of people said this:

Take just an empty O Canada 1oz 5-coins wooden case (it sooo good and universal since contains 5 38mm RCM coins in capsule) and put 4 Bald Eagle coins in the corner.
Guess which coin to put in the middle?
Correct - "2005 Proof $20 National Parks - Pacific Rim Canada .9999 silver" :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-Proof-...em4acb078db2

Do you recognize the design?
The 3-rd Bald Eagle taken from it.
Btw, very strange to me , but this nice series "Canada National Parks" not appreciated at all.....

So, in order to combine very nice 5 Eagle coins RCM set in wooden box just need to spend additional $70-$100 for the box and up to $70 for the 5-th coin.

@Tender4848:

very good, I believe it will be great set.
I didn't do it, since I very dislike the first coin.
But will do the same for "Maple Canopy" and stand alone "Animal" coins.

Just be creative here, there is a lot of choice.

Btw, the 1oz box is still available for the same price?

I find amazing how buyers are willing to pay 100% more just because a Commemorative new coin is graded http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-1-1-OZ...em51b3bc2811

$220 between price+shipping incredible.

I'm thinking in grading my 4 Bald Eagles...

What has happened to Bald Eagle Portrait of Power prices? I bought a pf70 NGC early release this past summer for about $140 all-in. I checked this week and all the pf70's on ebay are at stupidly high prices. Is this for real or am I missing something?

The portrait of power coin in NGC PF69 used to sell for $200 USD by itself. Was doing my usual ebay search with my coffee and noticed the whole series in NGC PF69 can be bought for $200. If you add up all the shipping, grading, listing, PayPal and final value fees + the cost of these coins when bought from the RCM, I'd have to assume that either the coin is out of favour or sellers are feeling the weight of their inventory and heavily discounting some items.

Silver wolf, I was told by the mods to search out old relevant posts rather than creating news ones on the same topic. It seems as though the 'post police' will complain regardless.

The fact that the coins drop drastically in price over the years is not surprising due to the massive pumping out of NCLT coins by the RCM. People can hardly remember last month's issues, let alone a rather plain coin from 4 years ago. In other words, there is absolutely no interest in these types of coins. You have to discount them drastically to get rid of them.

On the other hand, if its a glass lady bug coin, you could still get a $1000 for it,

MP, agree 100%! I'd actually like to get a glass ladybug coin for my collection, but I've noticed a few for sale from China, Latvia and Belarus which makes me a little nervous that there are some fakes/copies out there.

They were reportedly commissioned by Silvertowne which allowed them to manipulate the market. That is sort of the kiss of death in the NCLT world. Plus a lot of people seemed to hate the 'chicken head' design of the first in the series.

BTW, I applaud posting in relevant threads no matter when they were created. Seems all too often we have to wade through several threads on the same topic.

I agree, as long as the new post adds content value to the thread.

A post of "Nice coin!" to a three-year old thread is not a reason to revive an old thread, IMO.

I disagree, Commems.
If collector just recently "discovered" existance of the coin, why not to make a comment / ask a question in the coin related thread?

Asking a question would be fine - questions should always be encouraged!

My point was that reviving a very old thread just to say "nice coin" adds nothing to the conversation and, IMO, is unnecessary.
