I'm hoping those with more expertise than me (which would be probably all of you) ;) might be able to help me with a grade and if there is anything I should look into Newcomb, rarity and what not. Thanks in advamce!

There are many resources online and in print for grading LC's. Also Bob Grellmans book would help you with attributing the Newcomb variety. Your coin has been polished/whizzed and because of this the grade=value is whatever it's worth to you.
