I was very disappointed upon receiving this, because the color wasn't anything like what I thought it would be. It looks like an old, toned silver coin, but it's obviously not silver. The seller's pictures were nothing like this. Has this been dipped in something or is this just natural toning? Any opinions on the grade/toning would be great.

It looks like an AU coin to me with a nice die clash on the reverse.

I think it is low to mid AU. From these pictures, the splotches kind look like a cleaning, IMHO. I am not the best at identifimg cleaning from pictures, though.

Nice clash on the reverse!

I'm in at AU53 and yes I see more yellowed Three Cent Nickels all the time, a normal looking one with some patina IMO. Possibly was dipped once and is retoning, but not AT at me thinks.
