I understand the V3a is a tuff puppy in any grade. I have a few and all have the US clash in the hairvee which makes it a 3A. Not only having the clash they all have a small radial break between the "U" and "R" in E Pluribus. Does anyone have a V3a without the break?
Thanks

*** I have corrected your original post with "U". You need to put either single or double quote around that letter. ***

The EDS is also tough and really tough in MS. I have a AU58 and I'm still looking at every 82-O in hopes one will turn up. I have seen my share of V3's with all the clashing but with no letter transfer. I guess you can call them LDS. Alot of dealers who take the time to attribute there dollars aren't always right as I have come across plenty of the V3, LDS, coins that are billed V3A's. Without the letter transfer and as I see it, until one is found, the radial break it is just a V3. At the SSDC there are 17 3A's with the an AU58 top pop.
