A neighbor posted a "curb alert" for a yardsale he had. Curiosity got the better of me, the pile was huge. Among the junk was about 20 Whitman folders, from cents to Ikes. This particular 5c folder has just 3 dates-'62, '63 & '64. Note no nmintage figures for '64.
They're all abit roughed-up, but the holes are unused. Someone must've tired of lugging them around. One has a drugstore pricetag of .30. The Wash. 25c stops @ '73. Pretty neat, & the price was right. Now, to hunt up some deserving YNs.

Very cool find! Price tag and nickel dates paint a pretty good picture as to how long these things have been waiting for a good owner :)
