Just curious how much a scratch would affect a grade of a coin(and value). I bought this for a great price (IMO). As you can see the scratch goes from the "T" in Liberty all the way down to the rim :(

At a TPG the coin would receive a details grade for the scratch.

I think because of the scratch and a common date, its pretty much worth its weight in silver. Just my opinion.

Too bad about the scratch, probably from a staple too. Looks to have full bands as well, the scratch would really knock the price down probably in half or more. I'd say it's a MS63+FB and detailed for the scratch.
