Today I received this in change and hoped ya'll can enlighten me as to whether or not this is a coin error? If so, please tell me more about it.

1941 is close to the silver War Nickel time. with above comments; but have to wonder if it was with War Nickels when they were melted ? Put it on ebay, people buy weird stuff .

Please do not put this on ebay and rip off some novice collector. That is the type of thing that is hurting our hobby. It is just epoxy or something on the coin making it a damaged coin.

Woah...chill, lol. People that buy on ebay 'learn' from their mistakes. And if they post it on ebay without a misleading description, why not? People DO buy weird things on ebay, whether it is a die error or not.
