We have a jar we put our pocket change in, and as my wife was looking through it today She found an 1897 Indian Head penny. I would say it would grade "good". I can't imagine who would have spent this, putting it back into circulation. I, however, never seem to have the good luck she does. Guess it pays to watch your change.
I like to spend some wheat back cent from time to time. I enjoy it when I find a old coin in change, so I like to return the favor and hope the lucky person enjoys finding and seeing these old coins.
The luckiest I get is the occasional silver Washington quarter every now and then. I've heard stories of people getting Buffalo nickels, mercuries, and IHC but I guess they must be cashiers or something!
