I would call that a Cud - a chip out of the die that is filled in with metal with no distinctive markings. Another possibility is that it could be a metal separation like a lamination piece - I have seen that on Buffalos. It's a curious coin but I wouldn't pay extra for it.

I think there is already another post on this coin.
BTW, a Cud would not appear in the area shown.
It would be near the rim and spreading inward towards the fields.

Not a Cud and doesn't appear to be BU. As for the tumor on his nose? I don't know actually. Maybe a nice die chip?

Definitely not Die Cud or grease ... Some sort of break or els it was stuck in a machine ... I will definitely get pics of the rev when possible

I am fairly certain the horn was still visible .... Maybe AU would have been more accurate... I am away from my collection.. This pic was on my laptop and labeled BU from several years ago .... I'm actually excited about this coin because there is an error on some 1935 rev, from what I have read... Thanks again!
