Scrounging through the local coin store junk bin, I found a couple of interesting 25 cent pieces. A '43 with some die cracks (A - D, and @ 6:00 )and a nice obverse clash behind the king's neck, and a weaker reverse clash of the back of his head and showing up between the caribou ear and the date, the kings nose and mouth.

Also found this worn '55 (wt 5.77 grams as opposed to 5.83 for the official wt.), the rim is quite wide and the denticles are much thinner than regular denticles and rim like on the '43. What are your thoughts on this coin?

Nice junk bin finds!
Wide appearing rims like on your '55 are not unusual.
In 1953 with the appearance of the shoulder fold obverse the diameter of the 25cent was increased and the rims were changed to wide and flat, previous issues such as your '43 had "wire" rims.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

The '55 would be a junk silver coin, the '43 would take it's place in a date set.
I collect World coins, so the '43 would take it's place in the Canadian section of my collection.
Because they are silver, you are ahead in both cases.

In the 55 wide rim----there is heavy wear of the rim which also wears down the body of the denticle becoming an optical illusion of a wider rim--in fact the denticle becomes part of the rim mass.
