I beleive that this would be within the RCM tollerences. I'm sure that someone more experienced will be able to chime in soon, and be able to provide you with a definitive answer.

I wouldn't say it had any value premium but if it interests you then keep it until a better one comes along.

I would keep it also, until you find a better one. I think soon there's not going to be many of the older types left, I have noticed that I'm getting more new ones in my change.

Agree with all - it is within the Mint tolerance.

With some patience, you can find all years with this degree of offcentering.

It has been said elsewhere that almost half of the 2000 2 dollar coins are off by a little.
Other years are not so common.
I no longer stand at a cash register all day every day so the appearance of off centers are rarer for me.
