Have you got a shot of the obverse? Its almost impossible to grade from one side. doesn't look Red/Brown to me though.

I haven't actually got a picture of the coin on my computer.

I only have that scanned image which I decreased the quality to make it internet friendly. Its probably why the colours don't look right.

WOW that is an amazingly toned penny although I think the weird colors may in fact be an indicator of artificial toning or an old cleaning? Frankly I have said this because in my ten years in the hobby (only 17 at the moment) I have never seen a copper coin with toning like that

The rainbow is a reflection on the coin's holder, you can see it extends beyond the edge of the coin.

Photos of the obverse would really help (preferably out of the holder) in determing a rough value for the coin. I would grade the reverse at aUNC/UNC for the record.

Sorry guys

I will try get some photos this week. I dont currently have the coin with me.

I think the above photo was taken with the coin in its plastic sleeve. I have just scanned a printed image of it so it isn't the best quality.

Nice coin, very nice coin. Why not get a pair of cotton gloves, take it out of the holder, photograph in the nude, rude , then put in a saflip?

My 2012 McDonald says a Chunc 1912H penny is worth $18k but that would be a misprint it says an Unc is worth $875

Thankyou for your input guys! Really appreciate it.

I have since found an authenticity certificate. Does this mean much?

I've got one of those! Not sure what it means, I assume the 63RB at the end of the ref# refers to the grade, however you will be provided with an honest assessment here.

That certificate means nothing now, the company has gone into liquidation.

Looks like an MS63BN, maybe a 64BN.
