AG3 maybe? Reverse is a bit better as usual. Any idea of which 1803 this coin is?Looks like small date small fraction to me. Thanks in advance Jerry http://www.ebay.com/itm/1803-Draped...ht_721wt_934

For me, the reverse is consistent with S-244, one of the rarer varieties, though harder to see diagnostics on the obverse.

thank you for that info philadelphian. Looks like its an R-4 on rarity scale. Pretty rough shape but does the rarity factor add much value to the coin? Thanks Jerry

It adds a little extra premium..not too much on an AG coin.
S-244 looks correct for reverse. Overall, not sure.

Agree with AG details. The obverse looks like there may be sort of residue, like glue, on it.

will look for signs of residue when it arrives. Might need a bath.
