I read the 2013 ICCS Population Report and for 2005P Non Mags went from 1 to 3 certified. For the 2006P non mags went from 84 to 107 certified.

I haven't seen any of these sell for over a year. The first 2 2005P I think sold for a bargain with only 3 certified and not much mention of more being found.

The second 2005P was found last summer as I recall. It was listed on ebay once and did not sell but I believe it sold later privately. I think SPP maybe was in touch with the fellow who found the third in a mint set? Maybe last fall? I assume the fellow that found it either still has it or sold it privately. With 23 more of the 2006Ps found I am surprised that we haven't seen more for sale. I have seen none in any of the major auctions and none for quite a while on ebay.

So I just discovered a 2005P non-magnetic penny. I've been working on my large and small pennies in my free time for months, literally months, I was checking some lose PL pennies my dad gave me and I couldn't believe it when it didn't stick to my magnet. So here is the sad thing, we don't know which set it came from :( it was months ago when he pulled it apart.
There is one small spot on the coin but otherwise your typical PL. Ill take some pictures shortly and post them.
I'm supposed to be packing and getting a good sleep in preperation for a business trip to Vegas in two days but now my adrenaline is flowing pretty good. I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. Chances are Ill have my father take it down to Brian at ICCS while I'm gone, I just submitted a pile of large pennies so this piece will be going in on it's own.

Ill correct myself now before someone else does, it would be considered Numismatic BU, not PL.

Update, it's been submitted to ICCS and I should have possession of the coin Saturday. It's possible it will show it's face at Torex this weekend where my father will be picking it up for me. I will return Saturday night and post pictures of it certified.

I haven't decided yet, I'll have to seek some advise from some dealers before I can sell it with a happy conscience. Some fellow CCF members will be among the first to know if it goes up for sale.
