The "9" on a 1947 Wheat penny appears to look like a "2"...I haven't seen any references to this... Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. It is best to rotate the devices to horizontal to tell what is going on. Also the images should be in the 600-1000 pixel image size. too small is really too small.
