I really hope you guys all get your coins from Talisman. Sadly, given their track record on the penny set, I bet they'll weasel out of their issue price or close to issue price orders. They had no problem cancelling orders for the penny set and selling them on ebay or at higher prices on their website. In that case, the penny set was selling for $100 - $150 over issue. In this case, you're talking about $1000+. I say there's no chance the lower priced orders get fulfilled unless they've had a change in policy. I hate to say it, but if you follow these forums and you ordered from Talisman, you knew you were taking a big risk based on their past performances on a "hot" release. I really hope they do the right thing and get you folks the coins you both committed to buying at the set price.

And if the gold coin all of a sudden dropped in price rapidly, below 750$, you would all be thankful that talisman didn't end up shipping the coin to you. There is only ever these problems with talisman when it comes to coins that people can make quick profit from. Most of you only want the coin to make a profit off of it, just like talisman, so I don't see the different.

Difference is Talisman is a business that took and sold an order at an offered market price, all honourable business would do the right thing. The RCM is part to blame in this issue by releasing these coins blindly, how do you expect collectors to by coins sight unseen.

We MAKE AND ORDER (with credit card and personal info) at one specific time/moment so the market price of the coin in the future (rise or drop) is absolutely irrelevant. And what a buyer does with the product (in all kind of industry) is not the seller's business. If I decide to throw it in the sea, it's my problem. Have you bought Bullion? Can you buy something now and ask the dealer to ship it to you next week with the next week market price?

Most of you only want the coin to make a profit of it? Are you buying coin to make loss of it? lol I believe most people invest or collect in coins and hope to see their investment grow. To me, deal is deal. A company can keep its promise is good business & a company kept breaking its promise is bad business. I ordered ONE Superman Gold Coin above RCM issue price (USD$800) from Talisman. And I felt uncomfortable when member here stated that whoever ordered Superman Gold Coin from Talisman are the same people as Talisman? because WE WANT profit?

Yea yea, I see the same stuff on these forums every time. And I am sure none of you ever canceled an order before? There have been so many coins that members of this site bought large quantities of, from different MC accounts/dealers/other flippers, and when it turned out that coin wasn't 'hot' for a quick flip, you never canceled some of those orders?
Sorry if you don't do that but many people here do. Many people around here, when they think a coin is going to be 'hot', order and pre-order the coin like crazy from everywhere. But if the pre-selling and early sales of the coin fall flat and the flippers think they can't make a quick profit, then those companies receive tons of order cancellations. How is that different from talisman canceling orders for coins they can sell for more? Cause it is a business? Seems like they follow the same morals as the small time coin flippers they serve.

And according to Aswitzer's word, A person who bought (ordered and received order confirmation number) coin from RCM, later found THE coin became HOT, then this person deserved cancellation from RCM because this person only want profit and he deserves it? lol.

Lol, did I say that canceling orders was the right thing to do? No. It is easy to point the finger at a dealer but no one here has people keeping a track record of how many orders they have canceled from their numerous MC accounts or from online dealers. The argument going on is very one sided and seems to be very hypocritical.
If you have never canceled an order before, on a coin that you bought soley for flipping, than call me crazy. Good on you.

Well, I've seen some threads that have strayed off topic in my day.... Now what about the Superman coins? Is anyone interested in the actual coins, or has this become an off shoot of RFD? P.S. I do hope those of you who ordered coins will eventually receive them.

It is true that many flippers take advantages on RCM by ordering coins then canceling coins if coins are not hot. But all RCM's authorize dealers don't allow cancellation on orders from their customers. And all kept their promises by deliver the promise goods except Txxxxxx. Is it a good business practice? It is up to people to judge. I just hope those long term collectors don't buy coins from Txxxxxxx, because once you buy and the coins get hot then cancel by Txxxxx, because Txxxx wants higher profit on ebay. Some people might think you deserve it because you want profit. lol.

CRAZY and ridiculous.
You don't know me so who are you to judge me.
I think aswitzer works for Talisman so he wants to convince the buyers that is ok to get cancelled the orders and that is ok to be a malicious and unfair enterprise.

Arianzo, I didn't claim to know you or judge you. That is why I said if you have never canceled an order from a coin dealer or the RCM, than call me crazy. Good on you. So technically I gave you a compliment, if you actually have never canceled an order. Not sure why that would anger you. And again, I never said canceling orders is morally right - I believe that is wrong, just like most of you. I am not on anyone's side, as I stated before, I just felt that the discussion on this thread about dealers canceling coins seemed hypocritical because it is rare to find a coin flipper who hasn't canceled an order they purchased. Sorry to bring up such a touchy subject :P lol And sorry for further straying the topic from the Superman Gold, that's all for me!

Sorry I don't even see why there would be a counter argument to taking someone's order and money and canceling an order two weeks later because you found a higher buyer when your a BUSINESS. This isn't some back ally deal.
Say I was selling my house to you and we agreed on the price. Money is exchanged your all ready to move in and I tell you two weeks later after the deal was struck. Hey tuff luck buddy I just sold it to someone else. If you we're planning to fix that house up to resell it or planning to live there does that make the out come of the deal any different? I only bought 3 coins from this series 2 for me 1 for my son. I'm not buying some huge lot.
