I think the 1/2 oz was one of the 1st sold out/awaiting stock at RCM-I personally like this design.

I stand corrected to my correction.... its 1 quarter oz Superman unchained till available which pops up when your wondering if half the coins are still waiting and maybe available..they seem a little slow to mark the coins sold out

Kinda on subject & Stan Lee/Spiderman fans may want to know about Niue 2013 Silver 50th Anniversary of Spiderman 1 oz coin with mintage at 5,000, comes in cool collector tin with different Spiderman comic images. Available at Euro Collections/Downies & APMEX. I like!

@coinhooked..Thanks for the notice on Spiderman Silver coin....couldnt resist ...got one on ebay!...FYI.... NIUE is a tiny island near New Zealand that produces vanilla beans a cute bling coins..Her majesty is of course on the obverse otherwise I wouldnt bother to collect it.... 5K mintage...looks pretty good but unlike the Canada Superman coins there is absolutely no connection to the Spiderman Artwork whatsoever but it is the 50th anniversary of Spidey and I collect Spidey comics so...im in! and Ill probably get another one or 2 as well as they look pretty darn nice....Now..back to Superman....

Cassidy 77, Certificate of authenticity has Stan Lee's facsimile autograph & Marvel is written twice on coin. I think this is all authorized by Marvel comics. Comic images on the tin look like authentic cartoon scenes. I ordered 3 from Downies with final price including shipping at $105.15 each, may I ask what you paid on ebay?

Has anyone seen a in hand Vintage superman? I haven't seen any photos, and I'm wondering if the five different finishes make it an outstanding coin?

Arianzo, I googled the coin & all's I got were APMEX & Downies. Downies is deceiving because of Australian currency rate but I did compare with APMEX & with APMEX high shipping it was cheaper to go with Downies. Downies also gives bonus points that you can use for free coins (when you accumulate enough points for whatever). I have ordered from them before with no problems. They have a shipping site in California & don't know if they have one in Canada. They seem to be a pretty big outfit & now have merged with Euro Collections.

Yes but it's 1 oz coin from Nuie so its issue price should be like $50-$60 ....it would be interested to know it and in general for Nuie coins.

With 5,000 mintage, I thought I should jump on right away. This coin is the only option for Spiderman vs 7 for Superman. RCM routinely charges $100 for 1 oz silver coin. Spidey is a Proof .999 silver coin. Spidey fans should like & Christmas is right around the corner.

PS: Don't forget 1/4 oz spider & web RCM selling for $70.00. Spiderman is 40.7mm in diameter, a very nice size & he covers almost the whole coin. I like Spiderman!
