Just from the show....
Two dealers (maybe more) had Superman Gold coin in stock right there. According to them, 5 coins were sold for ~$2.500 each one.

Thats a good sign that they will stay at around $2500 anyway and most likely will increase in value as time goes on.

Anyone have the vintage superman coin? I cannot seem to find an in hand image. Call and talked to the mint this afternoon and there's a small delay in shipping them. The guy I talked to has one and was surprised to learn it has 5 different finishes. He said it just looked like a proof finish. He also stated its not very popular coin, and he thinks there will be a delay with glass candy cane coin, although it's not official. He indicated that glass coins always gets delayed.

What's happen to ebay prices for silver coins? I haven't looked for a few days. Now there's over 300 listings and prices of $300-$400 a silver coin! Any explanations or theories anyone?

I received my "Man of Steel" coin last week and it looks much, much better in person! The flowing red cape is particularly well done!

Five down, two to go to complete the series...

The two being the 1/4 OZ "Vintage Superman" and the 1 OZ "Superman Shield" coins.

I caved an ordered a man of steel from GAtewest last night, still at issue. I really like how the colors pop! I doubt it will top my HOLGRAM coin. I love playing with my hologram coin! I'm like a kid,i love the variety of colors and how the S on his chest reflects the color. I keep this coin out, just to watch the colors.

Scored 2 Man of Steel coins at the post office. Very cool!
Some goof turned them down and I was next on the waiting list. Bonus!

If I hadn't picked them up right away, someone else would have within the hour. Seems this one is a popular one; wouldn't be surprised if it will be sold out at Gatewest very soon!

These will make excellent gifts for kids!

Why you guys still searching for the Superman coins?
Didn't we order them during MC / Public release from RCM long time ago?
The Mint shipped them very fast...

That worries me a little, I'm a MC member, placed my order the day they were released(without photos)and I still haven't recv'd any of mine.

I did modify my order with my rep when I realized I ordered 3 gold eagles, instead of silver. I wonder if the modification has held back my order, it says 'new order' on the website and they removed the temporary charge from my credit card.

@fed_ink85:
I'll suggest to call the Mint and re-check it. The order modification not suppose to affect on non-modified items, but who knows...
