There is so much NCLT being produced by mints all over..its hard to predict the hot stuff for resale ..besides Superman I would say that the new NZ Mint Spider man and Dr Who coin sets will achieve lift off...but I'm not reselling any Superman any time soon

@ Northerncoins! Congrats on completing the set! I am still waiting for the "Shield" to be delivered to complete mine. In the meantime, since the RCM put the "Vintage Superman" back on sale today, I was forced to buy another one to avoid giving back my commission. It's a terrific little coin that would make a great gift, and at this moment in time, it's still available on the mint's site.

Honestly if it wasn't for the free shipping for master club members I wouldn't even bother buying from the mint. In fact I've probably canceled more then half my orders this year, because my post office and local dealers have the coins on release. Some dealers have gotten multiple shipments of these coins in already.

I agree Chubby, its complete BS how the mint ships out to dealers but put regular people and master club members on a back order list , I bought more this year from other dealers then from the mint as well, but then again maybe that's their plan all along...shrug.

Yes I agree...with the two of you...I get first dibs on ordering....then wait months to get my order...It makes it hard to give as gifts....I ordered the dream catcher for a co worker in may for their birthday in Sept 12....it just shipped Oct.11.I ordered a bliss and modern superman from some guy in Germany....got them weeks ago...and still nothing from the mint....

I'm still waiting for my Hologram coin. My representative told me it's in back order until end October.

I was in my local PO yesterday and all they had left was the vintage coin. Curiously, two weeks ago when I was there they had the shield and the vintage coin. I chose to buy the shield, and got the last one that they had to take out of the display case. They said they were hoping to be restocked, but I haven't been in to see for myself and yesterday they were too busy for me to ask, so I don't know if the vintage coins have been there all along. Either way, locally, they seem to be the slow seller.
Slightly off-topic - I really like those rotating display cabinets the PO has for coins. I wouldn't mind one of them.

Quote: don't want to get that smelly stuff near my coins. And if it not smelly - will you buy every item with the Superman sticker on it? This reminds me the fact that Superman coins were bought by first of all - coin collectors. The "watched" auction ended, and Gold Superman coin has been sold for ~$2.000. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-75-14K...530754114587The buyers didn't want continue bidding up to 2.500 and stopped. What do they know, that we not aware of?
