You need to rotate it 90 degrees to the right.

The surface looks like it is a struck coin (made to look like a cast coin) instead of a cast. I'd say it is a modern one that they put in the charms for sale.

I just consulted a site and this is likely supposed to be a coin of Yung Cheng (1723-1735).
It looks far too clean to be such, though, so maybe it's just some replica or something like that.
What's on the other side, by the way?

It should also be a brass coin. If you look closely on the edge and at the ends of the kanji you can see where the coating is flaking off, revealing steel or nickel underneath.

100% charm. A real coin would've had some Mongolian/Manchu writing instead of the dragons.
I used to have a similar charm that was far smaller (maybe about half an inch across).

Yep, it's a replica/fantasy coin, made for Feng Shui purposes. These larger ones are typically intended to be hung on walls.
